Heat Strengthened Glass |
|
|
|
Heat
strengthened glass is normal annealed glass which is subjected to a
thermal treatment and heated close to its soften point( about 620 as
tempered glass). Its process is very much similar to tempered glass.
The only difference is its cooling period, which takes much longer
than tempered glass. With its wind resistance ability, it is widely
use for tall building to sustain high wind pressure. It is also broadly
use for curtain walls and window panes since it wonˇ¦t break into small
fragments and injury people underneath the building. |
